If you’ve just recently started a network marketing business or perhaps you’re an old hand looking for a little bit of guidance here’s my quick list of five simple steps to MLM success.  Apply these steps as part of your business plan and you will begin to see results in a matter of weeks;

State of mind

home based business success is down to you and nobody else and if you don’t see success for yourself then the likelihood is that you will be proved right. If you do see success with your network marketing then you will be proved right also. So, get your mindset right before you go any further.

Okay, that said, what do we really mean when we say you have to get the right mindset? Lets face it, there are a lot of home based business coaches and mentors out there banging the same drum but what does it actually mean for YOU?

I guess for each of us this is unique. What buttons I have to press to maintain a positive mindset and focus on success and not on failure could be the same or very different to yours but I have recognized and isolated mine in a way that allows me to battle with my demons and come out on top.

When I hear leading guru’s like Randy Gage home based business mentor I know this is true and we all have to work through our demons to reach success.

It is equally important to have the right attitude.

What this is and where this differs from state of mind is very simple. This is all about your strength and desire to do something however tired you might be and whatever life has thrown at you that day. This is about you and your desire to drive your home based business forward.

This is what keeps you on track to success when others fall behind and what drives your passion every minute of the day when others fade away. It is the key to network marketing

The key to any business success is it’s strategy.

Any good business model is based on a clear strategy. In network marketing the strategy is always one of growth but how this is achieved is the illusive part for many networkers. We’ve all heard the figures quoted; less than 5% of network marketers actually make money in the industry. The other 95% end up with a very expensive hobby which they like to call a business. So, why is this so and what can you do to make sure you join the 5% and not the other 95%?

Treat your MLM opportunity as though you had invested $50,000 from day one into it and it will pay you big rewards. Treat it as a hobby and it will become an expensive one. Put a business plan in place and stick to it to build your home based business the right way.

Write down clear objectives at set stages and intervals.network marketing opportunities become successful businesses with this kind of plan and goals in place.

Set a budget for each four week cycle to cover advertising, business administration costs, products (if your company requires you to purchase products) and other expenses. Be realistic! This is a MLM business you are building so if some guy tells you it can be done for free walk the other way.

What is your plan?

Plan your work and stick to the plan. Decide how many hours you have available each day and week to work on your business and commit those hours to building your network marketing business.

Put up a wall chart or a poster to set this plan in stone and keep it visible as a reminder to keep your MLM at the front of your mind and effort. Commit to these hours every day and you will begin to see success.

Don’t sit still and believe you have all the knowledge and don’t need to learn new skills. leave space and time each week to acquire new skills and space to teach these skills to your downline. Don’t neglect those around you or they will leave you.

Do something about it (ACT!)

This is so easy to do and so easy to forget. Most people lack action and sit back watching their effort to see what comes of it. Put what you have learned out into the world and it will come back to reward you, but don’t sit around waiting for it to applaud you.

Forget failure and join the 5% of successful network marketing gurus leading the industry. Don’t sit around waiting for the gold to come home. Look at what works and make it happen with intelligent action over time.
