140 Army is a new Twitter-based Army game. Start an army , recruit your friends, and rule Twitter. It’s a fun online game, check it out at 140army.com it’s a great way to meet new people on Twitter.

What Do You Do?

1. Battle opponents in the Battle arena.
2. Complete Missions.
3. Purchase Property.
4. Purchase weapons in the Armory.
5. Build your army by Recruiting.

You can also earn badges of honor for completing missions, winning battles, building an army, and more.

Building Your Army

One of the first things you need to do when you begin playing 140 army is build your army up asap! The more people you have in your army the less others will be attacking you in the Battle arena.

In the recruit section you have your direct invite link. It looks like this:

You’ll want to leave your link in your profile comments as well as on the profiles of people you would like to join your army. When checking out other peoples comments you’ll see other peoples links, so copy and paste the link in your browser and they will join your army.

You can also use TweetTrains to build your army on autopilot.

Cheats, Tips and Hints

Here are a few cheats, tips and hints to help you play 140 Army with the best of us.

1. Save up and buy 10 properties at a time, you’ll save cash that way.
2. If you get to a high level and people no longer attack you, drop some of your high upkeep weapons and save some cash.
3. Don’t waste to many points on defense and attack, they don’t help you much.
4. You don’t have to throw your money in the vault, at 12% it’s often better to hang on to it. Losing some cash to others is often cheaper than the vault.
5. Try to find as many people as you can to attack for $100,000. It helps you arm up faster. Make a list and keep it in notepad, then enter in your browser http://140army.com/profile?id=nova__caine for example or replace nova__caine for another user and hit enter to pull up their profile and battle. I have a huge list that I use and battle with all day, I just keep copying and pasting from notepad.
6. Keep checking the Hitlist in between battles, hits do pop up from time to time and they can pay big $$$.

High Dollar “Ghost Accounts”

Lolplaying the makers of 140 Army have many “ghost accounts” set up that pay $100,000 ($70k after -$30k transaction fee). Sometimes you can find them on the scoreboard or in the Battle area. Look for accounts that have few wins and high losses, or a mid level account that is poorly armed ( a pistol and knife only). These are some of the signs of a ghost account.

To help you I will be listing my list of “ghost accounts” in the weeks ahead, so check back every few days for new accounts to add to your list. I’ll add new names 2 or 3 times a week.

Time for A New 140 Army

As great as 140 Army is, it can be improved. 140 Army is fun until you get to level 40, after that there is nothing to play for except for scoreboard positioning for Most Wins, Most Vault, Most Income, etc. So for me and everyone else I play with I’m going to create a new and improved version of 140 Army. With more weapons to buy, more property to earn you money, ghosts accounts in the hitlist, more badges of honor, the ability to purchase mercenaries from the Armory, and more.

To make this fun for everyone I’m taking suggestions on gameplay and features. Anyone a wiz with graphics and want to volunteer for creating the pictures and badges, I could use you. My goal is to make a game we can all enjoy for a longtime.

The development costs are going to run well over $1,000 so I can use your help, take a look at a sponsor offer, buy a membership, or purchase a product. And most of all tell your friends, the more the better. I want to spare no expense in creating the best game possible.

I’ll try to offer a stats transfer if possible so you don’t have to start from Level 1.
